Privacy

Prayer on Fire is designed to protect a contemplative space. We collect only what is needed to run the service: account details for sign-in, journal notes you choose to save, and prayer intentions you choose to share.

Prayer intentions may be shared with signed-in members of the community for intercession. You may post anonymously. Journal entries are private to your account.

We do not sell personal data. We do not build social feeds or advertising profiles. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

If you create an account, you may opt in to optional prayer reminder emails at times you choose, and separately to an occasional quiet note if you have not visited in a while. Both stay off until you turn them on. You can pause or unsubscribe at any time from your account or from the email itself. We do not sell engagement data.

First-party measurement

We may set a first-party cookie (an anonymous visitor identifier) so site stewards can understand unique visits, prayer completions, whether people return to pray, and whether the site offered add to home screen (and whether the home-screen icon is later used). This is for operational stewardship only — not to sell personal information or to run ads.

Retention numbers use completion events (for example finishing an Hour or the Rosary), not pageviews alone, and not the text of private journal notes. Approximate country or region may be derived from IP for admin stats. Core prayer does not require creating an account.
