Nothing requires an account for the core prayer itself. You may pray a Gospel passage, an Hour, or a single library prayer and leave when you are ready.
Quiet prayer is not empty prayer. It is prayer that makes room: for the Word, for silence, for a single petition held without hurry. A daily prayer rhythm can be as small as one Hour, one mystery of the Rosary, or a few verses of the Gospel. Choose one path below and stay with it as long as you need. You can return to another path another day. No more is required.
